finally back!!!
hey every rocker of e348!!
ahhaha...finally i'm back after the common test buzz! thanks to those who kept me in prayers and encouraged me throughout the exam... to those who wondered where i went, well, obviously i had been having my annual common test, which is, of course, tiring. yepps.
miss all of ya. i really hope i haven't missed out too much of what's happening in this happening cg! by the way, really wanna thank God for all that He'd done in my life. in school and stuff. He's opening many many doors to my friends' lives.
i was really encouraged by what zoe told me. just go, be think-skinned and ask! don't think so much about what they'll think. yep, i did that! and surprisingly, it really works! my friends are kinda open to coming for FOP, hopefully one will come so that all 8 will come. haha...
i wanna share with you guys a revelation i had while doing my flag day. well, last week i was compelled to do the CIP (cuz i'm an appointment holder) and i went. i hate selling flags. you see all sorts of faces from the crowd. lots of rejection too. but there's some things that i found out.
people will never donate money if you don't ask. similarly, no matter how much you impact the world and smile, no one will come to church unless you ask.
well, there are more rejections than donors. however, there are still many people who are willing to donate money, or at least give you some time to explain whatever your business is and smile to you and say no. it's also liken to reaching out. not the whole world will say no to invitations. the more people you ask, the more people will come.
when it rains, crowds cease. people who are willing to spare you attention decreases. but, there are still people who will entertain you and donate some money. well, even the devil is out there trying to get the souls indoors, those you can see, they are still potential people to reach out to.
some people wear the angry or hurried look to the face. but these people, they do donate money, at least some of them do. never judge by looking. ask and see what happens.
some people wear splendidly in the streets. branded goods and stuff. ask them to donate? no thanks! well, in reaching out, we don't choose the approachable or the likeable and decide to reach out only to them. rather, we go for all kinds of people.
last but not least, remember, THEY'RE GIVING MONEY AWAY! how much more, if we're giving them something now, and it's something we're so proud of, that's Jesus, that's love, and that's eternity...
let's stand together and watch the cell grow, one by one... =)
