For thy exam people...

Hey all exam peeps!

Just poppin' by to say all the best for your upcoming exams (for those still in the midst of them)! We'll be making a difference for you in the prayer realm too, so you all make sure you study hard (and don't watch too many movies yea?-you know who you are). Be blessed with all the wisdom that you need, and remember we're around the corner if you get too stressed and need someone! ;)

And guess what? Holidays are less than a month away (for you guys lah)! And we're planning for our trip soon...so anyone who is free please do some research and think where you guys wanna head to for a short getaway yea?

Anyway since we're on the topic of school...

*Alright, that was for entertainment value only. Cheers to my fave comic strip! =p*

Saw this too, and guess what it reminded me of? Remember one CGM last year where we talked about how we all make up different parts of a family and we drew our erm...family potrait? Hammie in frame 3 looks similar to what one group drew huh? Umm...

Alright, that's all the strips I will paste up here. The rest are more relevant to my blog...hahaha. Seeya all soon, and keep shining in your marketplaces like you always have had!

Cheers and till Sat,
Zoe

Be moved...

Hi guys,

Just wanted to share this with you all. A video of a 5 year old Korean girl who was born blind, yet is able to play tunes and sing just after hearing a song once. It will touch your heart tremendously, just as it brought tears to me. Enjoy!

We live in a world filled with miracles. There are REAL superhumans in this world.

I'll name a few, watch the videos!

1) This guy born without eyes, but he can PAINT sceneries!!!
2) This guy sees numbers as a shapes, he can recite Pi to 25500 decimal places, in 5.5 hours! He can do powers like 84^16!? and he describes 6 as a void, and 333 as particulary beautiful.
3) A girl can taste words and see words as colours...
4) A young boy born without eyes, but about to SHOOT A BASKETBALL and score frequently, hes able to "see" without eyes. Ie : put a stick on a table and he can see it... but he has no eyes.
5) The iceman, this guy jog a marathon in the artic circle, with Bare feet. Scientists put him in ice water for 25 mins and his core temp is 36deg. Normal people wld have already been dead.

Welcome to earth.

loving God, loving People

DST is over! How is everybody doing? Today our head of AGC brought us to a local church. His from FCBC btw. Its my first time attending a service in australia. Just want to share what was preached. BTW, they practice the communion weekly.

The motto of the Church is "loving God, loving people". We all love God. Loving people at a distance is easy, but how about people who are close to you?

Telling a "faith story" is crucial because it may just determine if the person spend eternity in hell or heaven.

How NOT to tell a faith story

How TO tell a faith story

Here are some photos taken. NO COMMENTS. haha

free sweets for all visitors (:

p.s The church gives me the feeling i experience in my very first church, Bread of Life.

Key to staying the course...

Hi to the most SPECIAL cg around, ever!

Just thought I'll share something that really spoke to me today, which I hope will speak to you in like manner!

We've all been talking about heading the marketplaces that we are in. Today, the word of God showed me something...

Mt 10:1 says "And when He had called His 12 disciples to Him, He gave them power...".
However, Mt 10:2 says "Now the names of the 12 apostles are these..."

Note the progression. One verse before, it was the 12 disciples. 1 verse later, they had 'morphed' to become the 12 apostles. What caused the change that took place in less than a second at most? It was the 12: they no longer saw themselves as followers who needed Daddy to feed them with a milk bottle and clean up after them; they saw themselves now as leaders who were the solutions.

You know, many of us have a mentality that says "I exist to follow. As long as I remain an obedient sheep, I'm sure that's enough. What's the use of being too siao on? There are leaders who will inspire and encourage me, rescue me when I fall, so I can just sit around and mop!

Problem is, when you take on such a position, you literally have already taken the initiative God has for your destiny out of His hands.

God always works in a way where He gives us little by little. However, to keep us going, He empowers us with a vision. And that vision is often larger than we think our feet can fill. The use of this vision? It will keep you going when the going gets tough, because you know that one day, you will grow to that level where you feet will fit those shoes. Although challenges may surround, yet you will find yourself not letting go, because of the anticipation of the fulfilment of the vision one day. And that was how Joshua survived in a land of difficulties: he kept his eyes on the vision for his life, NOT the challenges!

Do you know the vision for your life, so clearly that it will keep you going in your toughest moments? If not, let's take some time aside to clarify our vision yea? You are called to be a leader in your marketplace, period!

In order not to be too philosophical, I shall end here now. Those interested in reading more can be directed to my personal blog. Haha, free advert space again.

On an ending note, just wanna share this video with you, of an 8 year old boy preaching in Indonesia. You'll be stunned...and very inspired. I guess we all have much room to grow and not be bogged down by the busyness of life. How true that out of the mouths of babes and nursing infants, praise is perfected.

Cheers,
Zoe
